How TeleHealthcare Works
When a patient contacts TeleHealthcare, we determine which state the patient is living in. We then route the patient’s scheduled call to their physician or one located in the caller’s state.
During the call, the patient and doctor discuss concerns, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatments. If the patient needs prescription medication, the physician writes the prescription for the patient’s local pharmacy.
This video and phone-based healthcare system greatly reduces the number of patient visits to primary care physicians and emergency rooms, making it an efficient and cost-effective benefit to employees.
Helping your employees avoid the wasted time involved in seeing doctors “in person” results in higher productivity for your company. Studies have shown that patients are frequently more satisfied with the care they receive during phone-based visits when compared to in-person visits due to the time savings and quality of care they receive during these telecalls.
