What we collect

When you submit your email address through this site, we collect:

• Email address— required to send you the content you’ve requested.
• Name — optional, used to personalize emails if provided.
• IP address hash — a one-way hash of your IP address, used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP address.
• User agent — your browser and OS string, used for technical diagnostics.
• Referrer and source — which page or campaign you came from, so we understand which content resonates.

We collect this information when you voluntarily submit a form on our site. We also receive standard server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel), which include request metadata.

What we do not collect

TeleHealthcare is an educational publisher, not a healthcare provider. We do not collect:

• Health information or protected health information (PHI) of any kind.
• Payment data or financial information.
• Government-issued identification numbers or insurance information.
• Precise geolocation data.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send you the educational content, research updates, and announcements you’ve signed up for.
• Understand which content is useful so we can improve it.
• Prevent abuse and spam submissions.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We use the following third-party services to operate the site. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their function:

• Neon — cloud PostgreSQL database (US). Stores subscriber records. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Resend— transactional email delivery (US). Receives your email address to deliver messages you’ve requested.
• Vercel — website hosting and edge infrastructure (US). Processes request logs and analytics as described below.

Cookies and tracking

We use only essential cookies. Specifically:

• Admin session cookie — a JWT-based session cookie set only for authenticated administrators. It is not set for regular visitors and expires when the session ends.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and cookieless — it collects aggregated, anonymous page view data without tracking individual users across sessions or sites.

Your rights and choices

• Unsubscribe — every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you immediately.
• Delete your data — email hello@telehealthcare.com and we will delete your record from our database within 30 days.
• Data export (GDPR)— if you are in the EU or UK, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Email the address above and we’ll provide a machine-readable export within 30 days.
• Correct your data — email us if you want to update the name or email address associated with your record.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy with a new effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email.
